Brown Eyed Girl - Part 2

And another re-root job completed.

This is a Julia doll (modeled after the actress Diahann Carroll) from the late 1960s and one of my favorite dolls from that era.  Though these dolls were originally issued with black hair, over time that hair oxidizes and changes color to a reddish brown as shown in the 1st image.  This happens with the Christie dolls (uses the same face mold as the Julia doll) and the black Francie dolls from the Mattel line.
